Registrations are now open for the PFPNet Conference 2026, taking place at the IMechE’s headquarters in London on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th October 2026.
This year’s conference will bring together professionals from across the passive fire protection industry for two days of presentations, discussion and networking, with an excellent programme covering key issues and developments affecting the sector.
In addition to the conference programme, delegates will have the opportunity to attend a conference dinner, preceded by a drinks reception kindly sponsored by PPG.

Interactive workshops
Following feedback and requests from members, we are also pleased to be offering a series of interactive workshops on the afternoon of Wednesday 14th October.
The main conference programme will conclude at 1pm, followed by lunch for all delegates. The workshops will then run from 2pm to 4pm, providing an opportunity for attendees to get involved in discussions around a range of important topics, including:
- Development of the PFPNet Contractor Accreditation and Training Scheme
- The proposed 3-sided PFP protection JIP
- Development of a proposed fire resistance test for PFP repairs
- Potential new topics and future areas of work for PFPNet
- Certification and how PFPNet can support the industry
Some workshops will run for two hours, while others will be one-hour sessions, allowing delegates to attend more than one where schedules permit.
Workshop places are limited, with capacity available for approximately 50% of the planned conference attendance. Places will therefore be allocated on a first come, first served basis if sessions become oversubscribed.
